Dive into the dynamic world of Accounting with Scoular. Our accounting internship offers hands-on experience where you'll play an essential role in upholding our accounting practices, supporting internal controls, and contributing to tax-related processes. This internship is designed to give you exposure to different teams within Scoular's accounting function. Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting

Responsibilities

• Assist with general ledger activities, account reconciliations, and monthly close processes.
• Gain insight into how financial data supports business decisions and compliance.
• Participate in the documentation and testing of internal controls to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
• Contribute to the preparation of tax workpapers and assist with data gathering for federal, state, and local tax filings.
• Collaborate with the corporate accounting team in preparing audit schedules and supporting year-end close activities.
• Identify opportunities to streamline accounting workflows and enhance reporting accuracy.
• Leverage tools like Workday AI and Excel to navigate financial systems and support data integrity.
