About The Position

Alvernia University's School of Business is seeking applications for part-time (Adjunct) Instructors to teach undergraduate Accounting courses in the Fall 2026 semester. The semester runs from August 24, 2026, to December 11, 2026. The courses offered are BUS 301: Advanced Accounting, held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12:30 PM to 1:45 PM, and BUS 304: Federal Taxation, held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM. Course descriptions can be found in the 2026-27 Undergraduate Catalog. These courses will be taught in person at the John R. Post Center at Reading CollegeTowne, located at 401 Penn Street, Reading, PA, 19601.

Requirements

• A minimum of a master’s degree in accounting or a related field.

• Experience teaching accounting at the undergraduate level.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate Accounting courses (BUS 301: Advanced Accounting, BUS 304: Federal Taxation) during the Fall 2026 semester.
