Accounting & Finance Intern

About The Position
As the Accounting & Finance intern, you will assist the accounting team with daily accounting and data entry. They will be involved in physical inventories, month end balancing and budgeting. The Accounting & Finance Intern will maintain a positive attitude that promotes teamwork within Landus Cooperative and a professional image for Landus.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a 2 or 4-year post-secondary program with an emphasis in accounting/finance.
- A valid state motor vehicle operator’s license may be required

Responsibilities
- Assist with daily accounting activities
- Assist with month-end close duties
- Assist with physical inventory balances with locations
- Work with locations on budget set up and entry
- Data entry as directed
- Assist accountants with general ledger reconciliations
- Assist with analysis of expenses
