About The Position
Gain hands-on experience in operations finance through financial analysis, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration while strengthening your Excel, Tableau, and analytical skills. This is a year-round internship program designed to provide meaningful projects, mentorship, professional development, and networking opportunities to help launch your career. The program includes signature experiences like Charter's Intern Kickoff Day, volunteer opportunities, professional development workshops, and the Intern Summer Showcase.
Requirements
- Enrollment in a four-year degree program in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with current status of at least a Sophomore level.
- Cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
- Ability to succeed in a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Nice To Haves
- Accounting or Finance major with multiple related courses completed toward major.
- Strong attention to details, accuracy, and reliability.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Oracle experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop an understanding of accounting and operations finance processes.
- Support financial analysis, monthly reporting, and business performance initiatives.
- Assist with cost variance analysis and other operations finance projects.
- Support fixed asset capitalization and disposal activities.
- Document processes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
