Accounting/Data Manager-
About The Position
MV Transportation is seeking an Accounting/Data Manager to ensure that all personnel who are required to input data, forms, and/or reports into the automated, web-enabled MIS system be able to do so with the highest level of accuracy and proficiency. Other responsibilities include submitting all employee benefit applications and ensuring the appropriate deductions take place, ensuring accuracy of preliminary and financial statements, preparing journal entries, preparing projections as required by local, regional and corporate management for forecasting purposes, preparing and submitting payroll, data entry into client systems, and reviewing daily Road Supervisor / Dispatch Logs and Daily Missed Trip Reports. This role will also oversee the Data Clerk’s daily duties.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have experience preparing NTD data reports.
- Proficient with Microsoft office including word processing and spreadsheets.
Nice To Haves
- Some accounting experience preferred.
- Two (2) years payroll processing preferred.
Responsibilities
