About The Position

MV Transportation is seeking an Accounting / Data Manager to ensure that all personnel who are required to input data, forms, and/or reports into the automated, web-enabled MIS system be able to do so with the highest level of accuracy and proficiency. This role involves submitting employee benefit applications, ensuring appropriate deductions, maintaining accuracy of financial statements, preparing journal entries, creating projections for management, preparing and submitting payroll, and performing data entry into client systems. The position also requires reviewing daily operational logs and overseeing the duties of a Data Clerk.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience preparing NTD data reports.
• Proficient with Microsoft office including word processing and spreadsheets.

Nice To Haves

• Some accounting experience preferred.
• Two (2) years payroll processing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all personnel can accurately and proficiently input data, forms, and reports into the automated, web-enabled MIS system.
• Submit all employee benefit applications and ensure appropriate deductions.
• Ensure accuracy of preliminary and financial statements, and prepare journal entries.
• Prepare projections as required by local, regional, and corporate management for forecasting purposes.
• Prepare and submit payroll.
• Perform data entry into client systems.
• Review daily Road Supervisor / Dispatch Logs and Daily Missed Trip Reports.
• Oversee Data Clerk’s daily duties.
