About The Position

We are looking for a skilled Accountant to be responsible for the preparation, computing, managing, researching and analyzing of company's accounting data. We expect you to provide detailed information on company's performance, liquidity, solvency, and cash flows as well as analyze its financial position and make conclusions about it.

Requirements

  • high school diploma or GED
  • good command of written and spoken English
  • Administration and Management - Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources
  • Economics and Accounting - Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, the financial markets, banking and the analysis and reporting of financial data
  • Mathematics - Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and their applications
  • Clerical - Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, stenography and transcription, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology
  • Critical Thinking - Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
  • Reading Comprehension - Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents
  • Active Listening - Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times
  • Monitoring - Monitoring/Assessing performance of yourself, other individuals, or organizations to make improvements or take corrective action

Responsibilities

  • Performs accounts payable duties to include reviewing payments to vendors or employees, analyzing invoices/expense with correct accounts and cost centers, and recording entries
  • Collaborate with departments to streamline processes and resolve discrepancies by serving as a point of contact for accounting-related inquiries
  • Reviews and ensures business transactions are properly accounted for and accurately reflect the company’s accounting book (General Ledger)
  • Maintain accounting systems and ensure data integrity. (SAP, E- Accounting)
  • Oversee fixed asset records, depreciation schedules, and inventory tracking, while ensuring compliance with asset management policies
  • Prepares and analyzes accounting records or financial statements to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards
  • Review accounts for discrepancies, reconcile differences, and prepare adjusting journal entries
  • Monitor accounts receivable, payments and any long-term outstanding items for internal control purpose
  • Provide reports to management for decision-making with findings
  • Conduct quarterly accounting audits and provide the required supporting data and documents to external auditors and GHQ
  • Support the Corporate Management Team with special projects or tasks as required
  • Continuously stay up to date on accounting standards and best practices
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
