About The Position

The JDS Group of Companies is looking to hire an Accounting Coordinator to assist the team with accounting and fleet administration responsibilities. This role supports day-to-day financial processes while also managing equipment and vehicle tracking to ensure accurate reporting and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities while supporting both accounting functions and administrative operations. Responsibilities

  • Maintain equipment numbers and tracking within Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Assist with accounts payable postings at month end.
  • Assist with purchase order preparation and related communications.
  • Assist with accounts receivable invoice preparation and posting at month end.
  • Prepare monthly intercompany equipment invoices.
  • Provide general office support including office supply orders and coordinating couriers and shipments.
  • Provide general accounting support as required.
  • Manage fleet administration responsibilities including:
  • Ensure vehicle fleet insurance is up to date and organized.
  • Update asset acquisitions and disposals in the asset tracking registry.
  • Track location and assignment of assets within the asset pool.
  • Manage and track company fuel cards.
