About The Position

The Accounting Coordinator is responsible for a variety of administrative and clerical duties to support the Accounting Team. This position works closely with our Accounting Team, Operations Team, and Buying Team. Primary activities include managing incoming documents, vendor records, and vendor compliance projects.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to operate a computer, keyboard, mouse, and other standard office equipment
  • Able to clearly view and read information on a computer screen
  • Analytical mindset and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent organization skills with the ability to plan and execute tasks efficiently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong math skills

Nice To Haves

  • Additional education/courses in Accounting, Business, or related field preferred, but not required
  • 2-3 years accounting or administrative experience preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Assisting the Accounts Payable Team with data entry and reporting
  • Provide exemplary service to our vendors via phone or e-mail
  • Vendor outreach, compliance, and communications
  • Scan documents into an electronic database
  • Maintain document retention standards
  • Assist with various department reports/projects
  • Set short term and long-term goals and work with Supervisor to accomplish them
  • Contribute to a positive, healthy, friendly, and productive work environment
