About The Position

We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable individual to join our team as an entry-level Accountant. This is a full-time, hourly position primarily focused on managing our Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable cycles. You will work closely with our leadership to ensure our financial records are accurate and our vendors/customers are well-supported.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred (or equivalent work experience).
• 0–2 years of experience in an office or accounting environment.
• Strong proficiency in Excel (basic formulas, data entry).
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Professional communication skills for interacting with vendors and customers.
• A "common sense" approach to problem-solving and task management.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices, match purchase orders, and ensure timely payments.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any billing discrepancies.
• Generate and send customer invoices, post daily deposits, and assist with collections/follow-ups on overdue accounts.
• Maintain accurate records in [Insert Software Name, e.g., QuickBooks/NetSuite] and ensure all transactions are properly coded.
• Assist with bank reconciliations, filing digital/physical documents, and providing support during month-end closing.
