Accounting Clerk - Winter 26/27
About The Position
The Lake Louise Ski Resort is a world-class ski area nestled in the heart of the Canadian Rockies. We are a year-round operation, operating as a ski resort in the winter months and as a sightseeing gondola in the summer months. The Accounting Clerk assists the accounting department with day-to-day activities including floats, outlet cash outs, balance sheets and data input.
Requirements
- 2-4 years previous accounting experience preferred
- Minimum 1-2 years cash handling experience
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Word & Excel, Outlook
- Experience with BI software preferred
- Exceptional verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Punctuality and reliability is essential
- Ability to multi task at a fast pace
- Ability to deal with a broad range of people & departments
- Positive attitude and strong attention to detail
- A Police Background Check from your home country or province will be required upon commencement of employment

- Experience with BI software preferred
Responsibilities
- Open and close office including reconciling the safe
- Audit, input and reconcile daily sales from all departments
- Prepare bank deposits and ATM refills
- Assist with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
- Prepare and issue change orders and petty cash, and floats
- Month End duties including GL Account Reconciliations and audits
- Research credit card charge backs
- Perform related clerical duties, such as data entry, inventory audits, ad hoc reports, maintain filing and record systems
