About The Position

As the Accounting Clerk, you will contribute to Laura’s success by supporting the day-to-day accounting operations. The Accounting Clerk ensures the accuracy and efficiency of financial processes while contributing to the overall organization and integrity of accounting records.

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting or related field
  • 1 – 2 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Proficiency with Accounting softwares and Microsoft Suite
  • Strong sense of organization and detail-orientedness
  • Strong communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Verify and process vendor invoices.
  • Monitor and follow-up with accounts.
  • Prepare payments (checks, transfers, etc.) and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Maintain financial records and ensure they are up to date.
  • Create vendors in various systems.
  • Review employee expense claims and submit them in a timely manner for reimbursement.
  • Assist with the preparation of month-end entries (accruals, amortization, etc.).
  • Support the Accounting team with various administrative tasks.
