The responsibility of the Accounting Clerk is to maintain and process all accounts payable transactions.

Requirements

  • Experience with Microsoft Excel
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, with an ability to become familiar with firm-specific programs and software
  • Mac Proficient, including macOS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Responsibilities

  • Review, code and enter all Firm invoices for Hilliard Law
  • Review, code and enter all invoices for Hilliard Building
  • Review, code and enter case cost invoices for mast tort cases for Hilliard Law
  • Prepare case expense reports for Mass Tort cases
  • Weekly postage entries (USPS/FEDEX)
  • Vendor file maintenance for Hilliard Law and Hilliard Building
  • Distribute and mail checks for Hilliard Law and Hilliard Building
  • Back up for case cost invoices for Hilliard Law
  • Back up for case expense report preparation for Single Event Cases
