About The Position

The Singer Oceanfront Resort is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring smooth financial operations. As an Accounting Clerk, you will assist with various accounting tasks, including accounts payable/receivable, data entry, financial reporting, and payroll processing. You will play a key role in ensuring compliance with accounting standards and contributing to process improvement initiatives within the finance department. This is a full-time position within a dynamic and collaborative work environment in the hospitality industry.

Requirements

1-2 years of experience in accounting or finance
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
Hotel experience

Responsibilities

Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
Conduct data entry and maintain accurate financial records
Prepare and reconcile financial statements and reports
Assist with payroll processing and expense tracking
Collaborate with the finance team to ensure timely and accurate financial transactions
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to accounting principles and procedures
Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Support the finance team with ad-hoc tasks as needed
