About The Position

This position is responsible for posting the receipt of materials into the accounting system, recording the consumption of materials used at various ready-mix locations, and reconciling receipts and consumption with the quantity on hand at month-end. The role involves communication with operations regarding material receipts and other related issues, as well as with vendors regarding pricing and receipt issues. The Accounting Clerk will also provide assistance and analysis on special projects as needed, always working safely and taking action to prevent unsafe actions, processes, and behaviors. This is an in-person, full-time position located in Central Point, OR.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • One to two years of experience in accounting/office administration/data entry
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs including Excel
  • Must be able to work in a confidential environment, meet deadlines, prioritize work and be flexible to changing work priorities
  • Ability to work well with others including vendors and company team members in a positive, professional manner
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervisory oversight while accomplishing targeted objectives
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the military, specifically roles like Finance Specialist (Army), Storekeeper (Coast Guard), Logistics Specialist or Accounting Officer (Navy), or Finance Technician/Management Specialist (Marines) may be transferable.
