About The Position

Welcome to Love's! One of the Love's Family of Companies Finance and Support teams is seeking an Accounting Clerk I who will play a vital role in completing a variety of tasks. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set and demonstrate the ability to learn new responsibilities. This position requires managing multiple tasks simultaneously with strong attention to detail. The Accounting Clerk I will engage with various internal and potentially external stakeholders, making effective communication skills essential. Reporting to the Accounting Services Supervisor, this role is integral to all accounting functions as well as providing support across departments.

Requirements

HS Diploma or equivalent required.
At least 1 year of related experience.
Self-motivated and able to work independently in a dynamic environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks
Ability to interact effectively with internal and external audiences
Flexible with a positive, proactive attitude

Nice To Haves

Associate’s degree or technical training may be required for some roles.
Experience with Microsoft Office applications is a plus
Experience with Oracle NetSuite is a plus

Responsibilities

Enter incoming A/P invoices for processing.
Process expense reports for accuracy and payment.
Perform daily, weekly and monthly reconciliations of certain products or accounts.
Assist with billing calculations and prepare invoices.
Assist with processing monthly customer rebates.
Assist in inventory tracking and counts.
Update Excel files in all areas of responsibility.
Update customer information in our CRM as necessary.
Order office supplies and other items as necessary.
Serve as a backup for shipping as needed.
Other duties assigned as needed.
