About The Position

This position supports the Large Power Systems Division (LPSD) Consolidations team. LPSD provides exciting opportunities for accountants who want to be challenged and directly involved in business decision-making within a fast-paced, innovative, and growing global organization. This role provides Financial Planning & Analysis support, partnering closely with the LPSD Emissions and Power Systems Regulatory Compliance (EPRC), Administrative, and Human Resources teams. The position plays a key role in coordinating financial reporting processes, managing system-related activities, and delivering business insights through both financial and non-financial metrics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, or business related degree.
  • Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.
  • Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.
  • Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
  • Managing Multiple Priorities: Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.
  • Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor, providing Financial Planning & Analysis support to the LPSD Emissions and Power Systems Regulatory Compliance (EPRC) team and LPSD Human Resources team
  • Support headcount, period cost, and non-financial metric reporting for LPSD
  • Coordinate financial reporting system processes, including monthly financial analysis submissions and quarterly and annual forecast submissions
  • Facilitate SEC and division compliance surveys and reporting for LPSD
  • Leverage digital tools to improve efficiency and enhance business insights
  • Participate in special projects and ad-hoc reporting requests as needed
