About The Position

Blaine Brothers is seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Associate Accountant to join their Minnesota-based, family-owned business. This role supports daily accounting functions, maintains accurate financial records, and assists with financial reporting to achieve company goals. The ideal candidate possesses a positive attitude, strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, is computer savvy, dependable, able to meet deadlines, and has experience with accounting systems, financial data entry, reconciliations, and general accounting processes. Responsibilities

  • Daily cash journal entries, reporting, and reconciliation
  • Weekly payroll and monthly recurring journal entries
  • Electronic payment processing and posting
  • Perform month-end account reconciliations
  • Assist in preparation of monthly financial statements
  • File Sales Tax Reports; Federal Excise Tax Reports; Property Taxes
  • Compile Tow Truck out of state tows for third party processing
  • Assist with capital asset accounting
  • Filing Rebates
  • May be assigned additional responsibilities as needed

Benefits

  • Pay: $24-$29 Per hour
