The Accounting Associate is responsible for performing payable processes and procure-to-pay related activities. Will take on more advanced responsibilities such as complex reconciliations and handling more significant portions of financial transactions. The salary offered within this range will be based upon the geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level.

Requirements

  • A minimum of an Associate's degree in Accounting is required.
  • Six (6) years of related experience is required.
  • Excellent math skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Intermediate Google Workspace or Microsoft Office Excel skills
  • Intermediate decision making and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Possess good organizational skills

Nice To Haves

  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred
  • Six (6) or more years of related experience is preferred.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key job accountabilities may be considered.
  • Microsoft Dynamics AX experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Weekly and month end reconciliation of all accounts.
  • Ensure all expenses are processed accurately and deal with queries in a timely manner and in accordance with Plexus guidelines.
  • Liaise with HR and payroll to ensure accurate payroll data.
  • Payment of payroll taxes.
  • Reconcile all accounts.
  • Payment of proforma invoices and reconciliation to the balance sheet.
  • To ensure that all supplier queries are investigated and resolved in a timely manner.
