About The Position

As an Accounting Associate, you will play a key role in supporting the Finance team by owning accounts payable, managing corporate credit cards, and ensuring accurate daily transaction processing. We’re seeking a detail-oriented individual who takes pride in keeping the books clean and organized. You’ll work closely with the Finance Manager and Senior Accountant, while partnering with teams across the company to support financial operations. Requirements

  • Self-starter with the ability to manage routine tasks independently once trained
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy
  • Accounting foundation through education, work experience, or both
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Comfortable operating in a small business or startup environment with ambiguity and evolving processes

Nice To Haves

  • 1–2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience preferred
  • Experience with an ERP or accounting platform (QuickBooks, Xero, Bill.com, or Ramp is a plus)

Responsibilities

  • Own accounts payable, credit card management, and transaction processing from day one
  • Ensure daily and weekly finance tasks are completed accurately and on time
  • Maintain clean, well-documented records to support a strong month-end close
  • Enable the senior finance team to focus on revenue, AR, and FP&A initiatives
  • Identify and resolve errors, inefficiencies, and gaps in documentation
  • Build toward independently managing and improving processes within 6–9 months
  • Manage corporate credit card activity, including reviewing declined transactions, coding daily spend, and maintaining accurate documentation and audit trails
  • Own the accounts payable process by monitoring invoices, routing for approval, and maintaining organized vendor records
  • Process daily transactions in QuickBooks Online, ensuring accurate categorization and complete supporting documentation
  • Support month-end close and assist with ongoing finance projects, reporting, and process improvements as needed
