About The Position

CLA is seeking an Accounting Associate to join its CAAS (Retail Industry) team, based out of the Boise, Idaho office. The role supports multiple clients with accounting operations, including daily transaction processing, month-end close activities, and quarterly and annual client filings.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree is required; a combination of related experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of a degree.

Nice To Haves

• Accounting and financial experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle multiple clients, software platforms, and charts of accounts on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
• Coordinate and process accounts payable, cash disbursements, accounts receivable, cash receipts, and payroll.
• Complete financial statements and coordinate and complete account reconciliations, including bank and credit card reconciliations, prepaids, accounts receivable, fixed assets, accounts payable, and accruals.
• Complete complex account reconciliations previously set up and supported by a Senior Associate, Assistant Controller, Controller, or CFO.
• Complete sales tax returns, Form 1099s, and other forms or items requested by clients.
