About The Position

The Accounting Associate performs a variety of fiscal and administrative functions including procurement, accounts payable/receivable and payroll for the Shriver Center. The Center is funded by diverse funding sources including State, Foundation and grants with unique, and often complex, processes and procedures for each.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Four years accounting clerical experience.
  • Customer service experience and/or cash handling and payment processing experience
  • Additional related experience and formal education in which one has gained the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for full performance of the work may be substituted for the education or experience on a year-for-year basis with 30 college credits being equivalent to one year of experience.

Responsibilities

  • Procuring commodities and services for Shriver programs using various software applications and systems
  • Processing electronic travel reimbursements
  • Processing bank deposits and reconciling accounts
  • Assisting with payroll and onboarding
  • Performing various other duties, as needed
