CLA is seeking an Analyst to join its CAAS (Nonprofit Industry) group in the Livingston, New Jersey office. The role supports multiple clients with accounting and financial processes, including transaction processing, month-end close activities, and quarterly and annual reporting needs. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Support management of multiple clients, software, and charts of accounts on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
• Process or record accounts payable, cash disbursements, accounts receivable, cash receipts, and payroll transactions.
• Prepare account reconciliations, including prepaids, accounts receivable, fixed assets, accounts payable, and accruals.
• Prepare, understand, and review basic to moderately complex financial statements.
• Support preparation of the general ledger, cash flow, allocations, and related materials.
• Build process backup when directed by leadership.
• Assist with preparation of sales tax returns and Form 1099s.
• Prepare audit workpapers, tax return workpapers, and other forms or items requested by clients.
