About The Position

This role is for a Senior Accounting Services Specialist (CAAS) who is looking for variety in their work, serves a diverse client base, and desires career growth within a firm that values and invests in its employees. The position involves providing accounting services to a variety of clients across various industries, primarily family-owned and closely held businesses. Key responsibilities include preparing financial statements, executing multiple compilations and bookkeeping engagements, and working directly with clients to help them understand their financial results. The role also involves initiating technology projects such as application integration and data conversion to various QuickBooks platforms, as well as preparing corporate and individual tax returns.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on accounting services
• Experience with Excel, various Thompson Reuters applications, QuickBooks, and/or Lacerte is ideal

Nice To Haves

• Assurance experience is a plus
• Corporate and individual tax preparation is a plus
• QuickBooks Pro Advisor Certification is preferred
