The company is currently seeking a Senior to join their CAAS (Client Accounting & Advisory Services) group, specifically supporting the Technology Industry. This role is available in multiple office locations: Minneapolis MN, Madison WI, Dallas TX, Houston TX, Baltimore MD, Las Vegas NV, Tampa FL, or Charlotte NC.

Requirements

2 years of relevant accounting and/or financial experience is required.
Bachelor's degree is required. A combination of related experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

Develops an understanding of each client’s business/organization operations and becomes competent in managing multiple clients, software, and charts of accounts on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
Leads coordination and processing of accounts payable, cash disbursements, accounts receivable, cash receipts, and posting/recording of payroll transactions.
Coordinates and reviews account reconciliations (e.g., prepaids, accounts receivable, fixed assets, accounts payable, and accruals). Completes complex account reconciliations (investments, debt, industry-specific, etc.).
Prepares, understands, and reviews financial statements (basic to complex), including general ledger, cash flow, and allocations. Proactively creates process and procedure documentation and builds their own backup.
Completes sales tax returns and Form 1099s, and prepares audit workpapers, tax return workpapers, and other forms or items as requested by clients.
Oversees the workflow and quality of work produced by Associates and Analysts, ensuring efficiency and quality.
Assists with special projects such as internal audit, due diligence, system selection, and other consultative projects.
