About The Position
Pyramid Consulting, Inc. is seeking an Accounting Analyst for an immediate 06+ month contract opportunity with long-term potential. The role is onsite in Costa Mesa, California, supporting a client in the defense technology industry. The analyst will handle project and timekeeping processes, assist with audits and month-end close, and fulfill labor reporting requests.
Requirements
- Accounting skills or experience.
- Experience with Rippling.
- Experience with Oracle.
Responsibilities
- Execute the weekly Rippling project scrub by removing closed Oracle projects from Rippling.
- Process department change requests through the Jira queue.
- Monitor and triage timekeeping Slack help channels, resolve routine questions, and escalate complex issues to the Senior Analyst.
- Send pay-period timecard submission reminders and follow up with employees who have not submitted their timecards.
- Conduct an initial review of correction requests, verifying completeness and supporting detail before Senior Analyst review.
- Compile supporting documentation for DCAA and PwC audit sample requests.
- Support month-end close activities as needed.
- Fulfill ad hoc labor reporting requests from Finance by pulling standard data cuts by project, employee, or period and formatting them for requester review.
