About The Position

The Accounting Analyst II is responsible for performing assignments of moderate complexity and working with greater independence. This role involves a broader range of responsibilities and may include overseeing some aspects of projects. The position is designed for individuals with 2-4 years of experience who are looking to polish their communication, presentation, and analysis skills. This role is well-suited for someone who is forward-thinking, curious, and interested in leveraging technology, automation, and AI-enabled tools to improve accounting processes, reporting accuracy, and overall team efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2 - 4 years of related experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis and must not require U.S. Venture’s sponsorship to continue to work legally in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Perform assignments of moderate complexity, including financial analysis, reporting, and data management.
  • Assist in the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities, providing insights and recommendations.
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Oversee specific aspects of projects, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in the preparation of audit documentation and respond to audit inquiries.
  • Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
