About The Position

Nucor Steel West Virginia is seeking an Accounting Administrator. The role of the Accounting Administrator includes but is not limited to processing, recording, and researching accounts payable and/or accounts receivable transactions, facilitating payments, processing billings and credits, assisting with month end, reconciling accounts, and performing a variety of other tasks related to the successful operation of the finance department. Nucor Steel West Virginia's is a new state-of-the-art sheet steel mill that will produce up to 3 million tons per year once fully operational. This advanced manufacturing facility is located in Mason County, along the Ohio River in close proximity to both Huntington and Charleston, WV. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S., Nucor Steel West Virginia will not sponsor the need for a visa now or in the future. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Requirements

An Associate's Degree or equivalent experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, or bookkeeping
Experience with Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
Two or more years of experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, or bookkeeping
