Created in 2019, the Office of Innovative Mobility at CDOT focuses on increasing multimodal transportation options to help decrease congestion, emissions and improve safety on our roadways. The Office focuses in four key transportation areas: electrification, mobility services, mobility technology and transit and rail. Each key area provides policy and strategic guidance throughout the CDOT and the State of Colorado to improve the safety and efficiency of our roadways by leveraging both traditional and new and emerging technologies. The Finance and Administration team, which reports to the Office of Innovative Mobility (OIM) at CDOT, is responsible for consolidating administrative and support tasks office-wide to ensure compliance with federal, state, and department regulations, provide a resource to program staff on administrative and financial matters, and liaise with personnel in the Division of Accounting and Finance regarding OIM specific administrative and financial matters. This includes projects associated with the Division of Transit and Rail (DTR) and the Clean Transit Enterprise (CTE). As the Accounting Administrator, classified as Administrator III, you will provide accounting expertise by ensuring financial transactions are processed in an accurate and timely manner with the proper authorization and coding within legal parameters. You will also ensure ongoing compliance with all relevant federal and state legislation, policies, procedures and contractual terms affecting the assigned areas of responsibility.
