About The Position

The Alinea Group seeks a full-time staff accountant to join our Accounting team. We are passionate about innovation in culinary arts, service, and business operations. Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 1 to 3 years of progressive accounting experience in a professional setting.
• Intermediate or higher proficiency with Excel and Google Sheets
• Working knowledge of US GAAP and basic accounting software (QuickBooks or equivalent)
• Must be eligible to legally work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the hospitality or restaurant industry.
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of confidentiality regarding sensitive financial information.

Responsibilities

• Enter and track daily sales data for all restaurant entities, reconciling against POS systems and reservation platforms
• Perform daily bookkeeping tasks and maintain the general ledger to ensure data integrity.
• Assist with month-end, quarterly, and year-end closing procedures, ensuring deadlines are met
• Identify and help implement process improvements and cost-saving efficiencies
• Assist with ad-hoc projects as needed
• Uphold high standards of professionalism and communication
• Work under the guidance of business team leadership
• Other duties as assigned by management

• Exempt salaried position: $55,000 - $65,000 base salary
