About The Position

Siouxland Community Health Center has an opening for an Accountant. This is a full-time position. The successful candidate will have solid experience and advanced knowledge in various financial and software applications, along with strong organizational and detail-oriented skills. The role involves performing primary functions such as reconciling daily cash postings, completing balance sheet account reconciliations, recording journal entries, and serving as a backup for other accounting roles. Requirements

  • Financial Practice Management software
  • Advanced skill set in Microsoft applications and data entry
  • Proficient organizational and prioritization skills
  • Attention to detail and with math acuity

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in bookkeeping highly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Accurately reconciles daily cash postings with the general ledger and practice management systems.
  • Promptly and accurately completes assigned balance sheet account reconciliations.
  • Record monthly adjusting/recurring journal entries.
  • Serve as back-up person to Accounting Clerk I and Purchasing Agent.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned.
