About The Position

The Accountant will manage company bills, ensure invoices are paid in a timely manner, and process payments received into the company’s TMS software. The role includes receiving and preparing accounts payable invoices, handling expense reports, processing receivables, and assisting with audits. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and computer savvy, with a strong understanding of accounting, payments, and budgets. Requirements

An associate degree or higher in accounting, finance, or a related field is strongly preferred.
Advanced knowledge of Excel and accounting software.
Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and best practices.
Excellent problem-solving and research skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Commitment to accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Reconcile credit card and bank statements.
Maintain accurate general ledger journal entries.
Prepare accounts payable invoices.
Make payments promptly.
Prepare sales and use tax returns.
Provide support for audits.
Collaborate with other departments to handle account issues.
Handle expense reports, process receivables, and process payments received into the TMS software.
