Essential Functions (Responsibilities) Prepare and maintain financial statements and reports, summarizing museum financial activities. Manage the general ledger: record and track transactions to ensure accurate financial records. Analyze financial data to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making. Oversee the purchasing process to ensure accurate financial tracking, cost efficiency, and compliance with company policies. Monitor grant and donation revenue, ensuring compliance with fund restrictions. Reconcile accounts payable and receivable, including timely vendor payments and receipts tracking. Assist with payroll coordination, ensuring accurate and timely disbursements Prepare journal entries, perform month-end and year-end close tasks Collaborate with University of Tulsa HR and finance teams for audits and compliance Ensure adherence to accounting policies and procedures for financial controls and data integrity The University of Tulsa is a student-centered research university that cultivates interconnected learning experiences to explore complex ideas and create new knowledge in a spirit of free inquiry.
