About The Position

Accountant We are looking for an Accountant to join our team in Hatfield, PA! Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS) in accounting.
  • Minimum 2 years of accounting experience.
  • High proficiency in excel.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and present information to team members and team leaders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting

Nice To Haves

  • Some Cost Accounting experience is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience within manufacturing industry.
  • Experience in a publicly traded company and SOX testing is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Perform month-end close processes (which include Prepare general ledger, asset, liability, and capital account journal entries, and account reconciliations).
  • Review the accuracy of computations as well as perform uniform application of policies, procedures, and acceptable accounting standards.
  • Prepare income and balance sheet statements, consolidated statements, and other accounting statements and reports.
  • Maintains accounting controls by auditing compliance and recommending policies and procedures where needed.
  • Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements for actuals, budgeting, and forecasting as well as complete variance analysis.
  • May design, modify, install, and/or maintain general accounting systems to provide records of assets, liabilities, and financial statements.
  • Collaborate with Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable to ensure that cash payments/receipts are completed timely.
