About The Position

This position is an integral part of the North America General Accounting team. The job tasks may be fluid as we continually strive to develop individual skills and provide cross training, while delivering accurate and timely financial results. We are looking for someone with attention to detail who is able to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously and wants to be part of a great team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 0 – 2 years of accounting experience
• Demonstrated technical proficiency in MS applications.
• Sound understanding of accounting concepts.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong team player with ability to communicate across various groups/teams.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of NetSuite or comparable ERP financial applications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Approve journal entries submitted by others using NetSuite automated workflow
• Prepare and upload monthly journal entries and the related supporting documents. A number of these entries are Intercompany entries with various currencies.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts monthly, including bank reconciliations.
• Prepare quarterly and annual schedules for internal and external audit, the tax department, and the external reporting function.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of various financial and reporting systems
• Identify and implement improvements to accounting processes
• Other tasks, projects and ad hoc research as assigned by the Accounting Manager.
