Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or professional degree in accounting required
  • 3+ years of experience in an accounting / finance position preferred
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Efficient and goal oriented
  • Team worker with good communication skills
  • Experience with ERP systems and MS Excel
  • Willingness to grow with the company and take more responsibility

Responsibilities

  • Processes and enters of AR invoices, receivables, and reconciling accounts
  • Follows up on past due AR invoices
  • Processes customer credit card payments
  • Analyzes transaction records for accuracy
  • Runs financial reports and validates the reports are accurate
  • Collaborates with internal departments (sales, purchasing, HR, etc.…) as well as being a point of contact to customers’ and vendors’ finance departments
  • Works closely with senior management to implement new procedures and process controls
  • Assists in processing and entering AP invoices, preparing payments, and reconciling accounts
  • Maintains a clean and safe work area
  • Shows a strong eagerness to learn and a positive attitude everyday
  • Attends and participates in company meetings
  • Performs various month-end and yearend procedures
  • All other duties as assigned
