We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to manage the full-cycle accounting functions of our growing company at Eagle Performance Plastics. The ideal candidate will be responsible for all day-to-day accounting operations and financial reporting. Requirements

  • Associates degree in Accounting required, Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 2-5 years of Accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficient in ERP systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite, with advanced knowledge in Excel.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and cost accounting principles.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Accounts Receivable functions
  • Oversee cost accounting processes and ensure accuracy in inventory valuation
  • Serve as backup for Accounts Payable processing vendor invoices and payments as needed.
  • Maintain and reconcile the general ledger. including preparation and posting of journal entries.
  • Oversee fixed asset accounting, including acquisition tracking, depreciation, and disposals.
  • Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate cash flow tracking
  • Perform month-end and year end close processes in accordance with company deadlines
  • Prepare accurate financial statements and management reports
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Collaborate with external CPA for annual tax preparation and audits
  • Maintain and optimize ERP and accounting systems to improve efficiency and accuracy
  • Perform general office duties and provide cross-departmental support as needed.
