About The Position

The Accountant will be responsible for managing daily Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions, performing Work-in-Process (WIP) and Job Cost Accounting, and supporting Property Management accounting activities. This role involves completing monthly general ledger reconciliations with a high degree of accuracy, executing monthly close processes for multiple entities, and preparing and delivering monthly financial reports. The Accountant will also reconcile, prepare, and file monthly and quarterly excise and B&O taxes, research and resolve accounting inquiries, and maintain organized accounting records. Additionally, the position requires assisting with audits, ensuring compliance, and performing other accounting and administrative duties as needed. A willingness to support occasional on-call or urgent accounting needs is also expected.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable
  • AA/BA in accounting or related field. A combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Strong understanding of multi-entity accounting and reconciliation processes
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines consistently
  • Strong follow-up skills and ability to resolve discrepancies independently
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Willingness to support occasional on-call or urgent accounting needs

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with QuickBooks Online (preferred)

Responsibilities
