About The Position
This is an entry-level Accountant position at Main Line Health in Radnor, PA, suitable for individuals in their first or second year of their career. The role involves assisting in the monthly general ledger closing, preparing journal entries and financial statements in accordance with GAAP, and performing various analyses including Balance Sheet, Statement of Operations, Change in Net Asset lead schedules, variance analysis, and subsidiary ledgers. Requirements
- B.S. in Accounting is required.
- Ability to analyze data using Microsoft office applications & other department specific software.
Nice To Haves
- One to Three years’ experience as an accountant preferred.
- Accounting experience in the healthcare field preferred.
- Working knowledge of PeopleSoft preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the monthly general ledger closing.
- Prepare all assigned analysis on a timely basis.
- Complete journal entries and financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Prepare Balance Sheet, Statement of Operations, and Change in Net Asset lead schedules.
- Perform variance analysis.
- Prepare subsidiary ledgers.
