About The Position

Astute Business Solutions, an Oracle Cloud Partner specializing in ERP solutions including PeopleSoft, Oracle EBS, and Banner systems, headquartered in Dublin, California, is seeking a motivated and experienced Accountant with strong back-office support experience to join our growing team.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration
4–5 years of accounting experience preferred
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Hands-on experience with payroll, billing, accounts payable, and receivables
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, including QuickBooks Payroll Online, and Microsoft Excel is a plus
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

Process vendor invoices and payments
Process bi-monthly payroll for a small staff
Manage monthly contractor payments
Manage customer invoicing for time-and-material or milestone-based billing
Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable, including collection follow-up
Communicate with customers regarding billing and collection matters
Maintain personnel records and process employee timesheets for payroll
Perform payroll, billing, and accounts payable functions
Support daily back-office operations
Monitor and report on project profitability
Assist with annual financial statements and coordinate with external CPAs
Monitor compliance matters and advise management on potential issues
Support business development, sales, and marketing teams through reporting and project analysis
Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
Lead special projects and perform additional duties as assigned
Manage receivables, including incoming payments, bank deposits, balancing financial records, invoice verification, and general ledger updates
Work efficiently while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
