About The Position

Auto-Owners Insurance is seeking an Accountant to prepare accounting reports for federal and state agencies, learn and apply insurance accounting principles, help develop automated accounting systems from manual processes, use stored computer data to solve problems, and provide management with reports that support decision-making. The position offers a merit-based work-from-home program based on job responsibilities. Initial training is in person, after which work-from-home time may be available as defined by the leadership team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to organize data, multitask, and make decisions independently.
• Above-average written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to resolve complex issues.
• Ability to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship.
