About The Position

Auto-Owners Insurance is seeking a motivated Accountant to prepare accounting reports for federal and state agencies, learn and apply insurance accounting principles, and help develop automated accounting systems from manual operations. The role uses computer-stored data to solve problems and provides management with reports to support decision-making.

The position offers a merit-based work-from-home program determined by job responsibilities and leadership approval. Initial training is in person. Applicants must be able to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to organize data, multitask, and make decisions independently.
• Above-average written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to resolve complex issues.
• Ability to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship.
