About The Position
This position is responsible for supervising all accounting personnel related to plant functions. Other duties include: supervising clerks to make sure that all weekly accounting activities are performed; activities will involve scale house accounting payroll activity yield reporting profit loss reporting and month-end general ledger accounting; tracking plant cost; CIR preparation and tracking; audit activities; other analysis as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in an academic field directly related to the position with 1 plus years' experience or equivalent work experience or currently in the Associate Accountant Trainee Program.
- Standard computer skills.
- Microsoft Office Excel and Word proficiency.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Responsible for supervising management support Team Members.
Responsibilities
- Supervising all accounting personnel related to plant functions.
- Supervising clerks to ensure all weekly accounting activities are performed.
- Managing scale house accounting, payroll activity, yield reporting, profit loss reporting, and month-end general ledger accounting.
- Tracking plant cost.
- CIR preparation and tracking.
- Handling audit activities.
- Performing other analysis as assigned.
