About The Position

Accountant At Wolfe Eye Clinic, we create Better Vision for a Better Life. We are currently looking to add to our accounting team to perform general accounting and financial reporting.

Requirements

Prior experience in Payroll processing
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, updating & using spreadsheets, formulas, pivot tables & other Excel functions.
Knowledge of computerized information systems used in financial and accounting applications.
Account balancing and reconciling skills.
Ability to set up and maintain financial accounts and ledgers.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required.

Nice To Haves

Sage Intacct and Paycom preferred.
Prior experience in Payroll processing, Paycom, and Sage Intacct is preferred.

Responsibilities

Bi-weekly payroll processing
Assist with month end close procedures
Account reconciliation
Post journal entries and perform financial reporting analysis including variance analysis and financial statement preparation.
Assist with year-end financial statement and 401K audits
Analyzes, reconciles, balances, and maintains accounting records including fixed assets, inventory, accounts payable, payroll, prepaid expenses, and other balance sheet and income statement accounts
Assists others in the Accounting Department as needed.
Assist in ad hoc projects as assigned
Performs other duties and travels to other clinics as needed.
