About The Position

As an Accountant, you will actively contribute to organizational and departmental projects, support financial operations across divisions, and ensure accurate reporting and reconciliation of financial data. You will also play a role in improving accounting processes, collaborating with internal teams, and maintaining compliance through timely and precise journal entries and month-end activities. This is a temporary position with an expected duration of approximately 12 months.

Requirements

  • Enjoy working with accounting standards (US GAAP)
  • Proficient in French and English, both spoken and written
  • Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, macros, SQL)
  • Known for your attention to detail
  • Quick learner and autonomous
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in lease financing/debt financing
  • Experience with Workday and Infolease systems

Responsibilities

  • Prepare various financial reports for different divisions
  • Perform monthly general ledger reconciliations
  • Participate in improving accounting processes
  • Participate in the month-end/year-end process
  • Respond to and support various operational departments within the organization
  • Record various accounting entries in different systems
  • Support the finance team and collaborate on various departmental tasks
  • Participate in the implementation of various organizational and departmental projects
  • Any other related tasks
