About The Position

Under guidelines set forth by the Controller, manage and coordinate the accounting activities using proper accounting methods so that accurate and up-to-date financial records are kept which produce timely and meaningful information to management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent from four-year college or associate’s degree and at least two years’ experience and/or training.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the processing of transactions for the preparation of financial statements.
• Review margins and operating expenses on a monthly basis and explain any variances from actual to budget.
• Responsible for general ledger accounting and reconciliation, some accounts payable and inventory processes.
• Reconcile bank statements to the general ledger.
• Reconcile fixed assets and depreciation accounts.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
