About The Position

Siouxland Community Health Center has an opening for an Accountant. This is a full-time position. The successful candidate will have solid experience and advanced knowledge in bookkeeping, financial practice management software, Microsoft applications, data entry, and possess strong organizational and prioritization skills, attention to detail, and math acuity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in bookkeeping highly preferred
  • Financial Practice Management software
  • Advanced skill set in Microsoft applications and data entry
  • Proficient organizational and prioritization skills
  • Attention to detail and with math acuity

Responsibilities

  • Accurately reconciles daily cash postings with the general ledger and practice management systems.
  • Promptly and accurately completes assigned balance sheet account reconciliations.
  • Record monthly adjusting/recurring journal entries.
  • Serve as back-up person to Accounting Clerk I and Purchasing Agent.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned.
