About The Position

This role involves maintaining comprehensive financial records, including assets, liabilities, profit and loss statements, and tax liabilities. The accountant will manage the general ledger, analyze financial data to produce reports, and interpret financial records and statements for management. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of general ledger accounting.
  • Knowledge of an Accounting Shared Services Center environment.
  • Ability to evaluate, analyze, and prioritize data in various forms and formats.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures (US GAAP).
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Proficient knowledge of conflict resolution techniques.
  • Professional communication skills (phone, interpersonal, written, verbal, etc.).
  • Self-motivated, proactive, detail-oriented, and a team player.
  • Time management and time-critical prioritization skills.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain records of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities within an organization.
  • Maintain general ledger as needed.
  • Analyze financial data in order to prepare financial reports.
  • Generate and interpret financial records and statements for management.
  • Other duties as assigned.
