About The Position

This role can expect to perform general accounting activities, including the preparation, maintenance and reconciliation of ledger accounts and financial statements in compliance with defined controls, standards, and regulations. You can also expect to compile and analyze financial information, and contribute to meaningful process improvements.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of relevant experience or a combination of related experience, education and training.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares, analyzes, and reconciles financial transactions, account balances, and supporting schedules in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), company policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Completes month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, variance analysis, and financial reporting.
  • Analyzes financial data and accounting records to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvements.
  • Identifies, implements, and maintains effective internal controls and supports compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
  • Contributes to special projects, system implementations, process improvement initiatives, and other departmental priorities.
  • Prepares and delivers presentations and project updates to management and stakeholders.
  • Maintains confidentiality of financial information and exercises sound professional judgment in performing assigned responsibilities.
