The Hydraulic Division Rotational Program provides a structured pathway for recent graduates to accelerate their technical, professional, and leadership development while gaining hands-on experience with real-world customer applications and innovative technologies. Over a three-year training and development program, participants will rotate through key areas of the business, which may include: Engineering Testing, Quality, Manufacturing, Design Engineering, Vehicle Systems Development, and Hydraulic Application Engineering. Through hands-on assignments, mentorship from experienced industry professionals, customer engagement, and cross-functional projects, participants will develop a comprehensive understanding of the product and system lifecycle—from concept and design through testing, validation, production, and field implementation. The program is designed to develop the Application Engineering Leaders of Tomorrow, providing participants with the technical knowledge, systems-thinking capabilities, problem-solving skills, and customer-focused mindset needed to contribute to the development of next-generation hydraulic and electrified machine solutions. Participants will follow a structured rotation schedule through major HYDAC functions. The program may also include an international rotation in Germany for approximately three months, providing valuable exposure to HYDAC’s global operations and engineering organization.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
Familiarity with computer-based systems and software.
Knowledge of manufacturing and quality processes and capabilities.
Ability to analyze and interpret technical information and documentation.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to build effective relationships and work collaboratively across functions.
Self-starter with a strong desire to learn, develop, and take on new challenges.

Nice To Haves

Mechanical Engineering degree preferred.
